SEAT Cordoba code entry

Turn the radio on until 1000 shows. Use preset buttons 1 to 4 to set each digit, then hold the right arrow or SCAN button until the radio unlocks. If SAFE shows but code entry is blocked, leave the radio powered on for one hour first.

Which radio does my SEAT Cordoba have?

The SEAT Cordoba 6L (2002–2009) was fitted with the Aura, Radio 300. The model name is printed on the front of the radio, and your serial number tells us exactly which unit it is.

What does a SEAT Cordoba radio serial look like?

It is 14 characters long and starts with SEZ, for example SEZ1Z3F6412082. You'll find it on the sticker on the radio casing.

Why does my SEAT Cordoba radio say SAFE?

SAFE means the anti-theft lock is active because the radio lost power, for example after a flat battery or battery change. If SAFE stays on the screen after wrong attempts, leave the radio powered on for about an hour and it will reset.

Will my code still work after a battery change?

Yes. The code belongs to the radio unit and never changes. Keep it with your car documents and you can reuse it any time the battery is disconnected.

Can I get the code from my VIN?

No. SEAT radio codes are tied to the radio serial number, not the vehicle VIN. You'll need to read the serial from the radio label.

What if my code does not work?

Double-check the serial, especially the letter I versus the number 1. If the serial is correct and the code still fails, contact us and we will recheck it free or refund you in full.
